Terms of service

Clear expectations for your household, connected accounts and personal information.

Published October 19, 2026. Each adult must review and accept these terms before their first Oura connection. Publication alone does not record anyone's acceptance or authorize a connection.

The essentials

  • HomeOS is for approved adult household members and personal household planning.
  • You keep your content. Processing permission is limited to operating selected features and the purposes below.
  • Source connections and wearable sharing need separate permission from the account owner.
  • Review imported details and official sources. HomeOS is not an emergency or medical service.
  • These terms do not authorize a purchase, recurring charge or lifetime service commitment.

1. Operator and service scope

CFB Picks LLC, operating as Family Situation Room (“we” or “us”), provides Family Situation Room, the household service also referred to in this dashboard as HomeOS, to approved household members in the United States who are at least 18 and legally able to agree to these terms. The service is intended for personal household use.

The service consists of enabled dashboard features and supporting services. A mockup, demonstration, roadmap item or available provider API is not a promise that a feature is connected or will be offered. Oura is a restricted, separately approved household trial limited to two adults, not a paid customer integration. Children may appear in adult-managed household records but do not receive independent accounts.

2. Accounts and separate permissions

Use your own approved sign-in and protect your provider account, recovery methods and devices. Do not share a login or connect another adult's wearable or personal account for them. Report suspected unauthorized access to support@familysituationroom.com.

Sign-in does not by itself authorize calendar, mailbox or wearable access. Each source owner must authorize their connection. Read the connection disclosure: connected calendars and school information may be visible to other authorized adults. A household owner cannot give another adult's Oura sharing consent. Sharing that starts off must be enabled by the wearer.

Only supply information you are authorized to use and disclose, including information about children and other people. An employer or school may prohibit connecting a managed account or sharing its contents. Administrator restrictions, revoked permission, an expired third-party membership or provider policy may block a connection even when sign-in succeeds. Do not bypass those restrictions.

3. Your content and our limited permission

You and the relevant rights holders keep ownership of household content. You give us permission to store, process, display, transmit and make technical copies needed to deliver selected features, maintain and secure them, and fulfill legal obligations. Authorized service providers may perform that work for those purposes. Permission extends only to information you are entitled to provide.

This does not grant a general right to sell content, use family material in promotion or train general-purpose AI models with private household content. Permission to process deleted content ends when it is removed, subject to the limited retention, backups and legal obligations in the privacy notice. Disconnecting does not automatically delete already-created records.

You may use the HomeOS interface for your household while access is authorized. Our software, branding and third-party materials remain subject to their owners' rights and any separately supplied licenses. These terms alone do not transfer software ownership or grant rights in another person's or provider's information.

4. Authorized and respectful use

Do not use HomeOS to secretly monitor someone, access data without authority, bypass consent or privacy settings, impersonate others, infringe rights, distribute malware, disrupt the service or conduct unlawful activity. Do not try to obtain another household's information. Report a suspected security issue privately rather than accessing or publishing someone else's data.

Use minimum necessary details in family records. Do not store passwords, access tokens, payment-card credentials, Social Security numbers or unnecessary identity/medical documents in tasks or reusable answers. Shared records and an unlocked display may be visible to other people.

5. Review plans, imports and reminders

HomeOS assists with organization. Check dates, time zones, locations, ownership, coverage and deadlines. A missing event, successful refresh or absence of alerts does not prove there are no obligations or hazards. Imports may misread a photo, omit context or create duplicates. Review a proposed manual import or form response before saving or using it. Approval inside HomeOS does not submit a form to a school or other organization.

The optional email-to-calendar pilot starts with previews from a sender selected by the mailbox owner. Automatic mode requires a separate choice and applies only to supported calendar attachments. It can create or maintain local HomeOS events; it does not accept invitations, send replies or change the original provider calendar. Checks can be delayed or held when source authentication, timing or a relationship to an existing event is unclear. Continue checking original notices for important changes.

Local HomeOS events are copies managed inside HomeOS. Current read-only Google and Microsoft connections do not change original provider calendars or mail. Editing or deleting a local copy does not cancel an appointment, notify an organizer or update the original source. Check the source when a real-world commitment changes.

Forecasts, AI summaries, school updates, synchronization and email delivery may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate or unavailable. Weather AI summarizes public regional material; it does not know private household plans. Use official warnings and original notices for consequential decisions. Reminders and debriefs are not guaranteed delivery or emergency alerts.

Wearable scores are personal context, not medical advice, diagnosis or evidence of mood or ability. Do not use them for medical, employment, insurance or other consequential eligibility decisions. HomeOS is not a clinical system, financial adviser or emergency-response service. Seek appropriate professional or emergency assistance when needed.

6. Providers, availability and costs

Connected services have their own terms, permissions, memberships and limits. We do not control their availability, accuracy, fees, authorization policies or future API access. A provider or supporting-service change may disable a feature. Other dashboard features may continue without that optional connection.

These terms do not create a new purchase, subscription, automatic renewal or charge. They do not promise free third-party services, ongoing personal support, uninterrupted availability, lifetime updates or permanent operation of shared services. Before any paid offering, order terms must identify the price, included features and service duration, hosting responsibilities, third-party costs, support scope and refund/cancellation rules. A later charge requires its own disclosed authorization.

7. Stopping a connection or leaving

You may stop using HomeOS, sign out, disconnect your own optional account or revoke permission with the provider. Change your Oura sharing at any time. Contact us for removal of household access or broader data-copy/deletion requests. The privacy notice explains identity checks, shared records, undo state, caches, exports and retention limits.

We may restrict access or stop a feature or the service for a security risk, misuse, legal requirement, provider restriction or operational reason. Where reasonably possible, we will give notice and help you request an available copy of information you are entitled to receive. Urgent security or legal concerns may require immediate restriction. We will protect other people's private information in any export and cannot guarantee that a provider restores discontinued access. Applicable data-access and privacy rights remain in effect.

Ending participation does not withdraw another adult's independent permission, remove copies from someone else's inbox or erase all records already shared. Privacy requests remain subject to the notice and applicable law after access ends.

8. Service limitations and legal rights

The service is provided as available. To the extent permitted by applicable law, CFB Picks LLC disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and does not guarantee error-free or uninterrupted service. To that extent, CFB Picks LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages from use or unavailability of the service.

For connected-provider components supplied through HomeOS, warranties are also disclaimed on those providers' behalf, including implied warranties of fitness, merchantability and non-infringement. Where permitted by law, those service providers are excluded from liability for consequential, special, punitive or indirect damages arising from those components. This provider provision is required for the Oura integration by its API agreement; direct use of a provider's products remains governed by that provider's own terms.

These limitations do not exclude obligations, liability, remedies or consumer rights the law does not allow us to exclude or limit. They do not remove our privacy or security obligations.

9. Changes, questions and privacy

The privacy notice describes data handling; it does not replace permission required for optional sources or sensitive sharing. We will date revised terms and prominently explain material changes before they take effect where reasonably possible. When agreement or additional consent is required, we will obtain it; posting text alone does not authorize new uses of connected or sensitive information.

For a question, privacy request, security concern or dispute, contact CFB Picks LLC at support@familysituationroom.com. Contacting us does not waive a legal remedy. If a provision cannot be enforced, applicable law controls it and the remaining terms continue to the extent permitted.
